There is a ton of agriculture and art museums around. As for fun the night life in buffalo is nothing special, but hey it's something to do. The mall is 10 minutes away where you can shop, catch a movie, go get some food at some of the great restaunts offered: Melting Pot, Olive Garden, Cheese Cake Factory, PF Changs, Texas De Brazil, and many more! Also if your a football or hockey fan, Bills and Sabres tickets are fairly cheap and reasonable.

Buffalo is full of fun things to do! There is a ton of night-life, several sports teams, and a fun park nearby great for sports and running. Buffalo residents are big on their sports team so keep up with the Sabres and the Bills.

There are always athletic games to go to, shops/restaurants and bars in downtown Buffalo, Bandits/Sabres games, open gym time, Zumba classes, Cardio classes, movie nights and a lot more. Canisius college is in the center of Buffalo so there is always somewhere to go or something to do.

Every Friday there is a Game Night, where the Fusion Gaming Club at Canisius supplies every game that there is; card games and board games, retro video games (like those on Gamecube and Xbox-the original one), as well as plenty of new games on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Also, one of the clubs is always throwing some type of get together that is open to everyone. Canisius also has guest speakers come in from time to time, like hypnotists and comedians. On week ends, Canisius also buses people from the campus to the Galleria Mall.

We are the closest school to the main shopping districts and downtown Buffalo. Students are also given metro cards to take the subway for free, so you always have something to do!

There are plenty of sporting games going on such as baseball, hockey, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, the gym, and inter-mural teams. Buffalo also has a pro hockey, football team, and a minor league baseball team. You can take the subway downtown and shop or eat. There's tons of shops and restaurants. There's ice skating in the winter. During the warmer months you can walk by the water front. There's a beautiful park and historic cemetery by campus. Concerts are always in the area. There are plenty of free on campus events. There are a lot of clubs to join. The clubs put on tons of free events. Canisius also has several retreats throughout the year. There are a lot of volunteer opportunities. It's up to you to make the most of it.
