Incoming students should first speak and meet their advisors to have a plan of study and review the courses required to graduate or transfer for their choice of major. Always study and seek for assistance if struggling in class, as CFCC provides free tutoring and assistance. Do the best in school and always pursue your goals.

If you plan on attending CFCC don't buy your books from the CFCC bookstore. Go to the Cape Fear Bookstore also located on Front St. They have a wider selection of used books that are affordable.

Use the advisors, they are great at making sure you take the classes you need and getting your schedule set up so it is manageable. If you are a veteran, use the vet center. It is amazing and has so many helpful people and resources in it. Always communicate with your teachers, they are very willing to work with you as long as you keep them informed about what is going on.
