CFCC's Downtown Campus is right on the Cape Fear River and has many places for you to sit and watch the boats. There are many restaurants and shops close by as well as Ziggy's By the Sea that offers lots of concerts.

In between classes I often hang out in the veterans center located on campus. I love the advisors and resources in this center and also have connected with many other students through this center. You can also walk around historic downtown Wilmington in between classes to get a break from your studies and enjoy some fresh air or do a little shopping or grab a bite to eat. There are also many festivals, and concerts that take place right by the campus.

There are always activities going on in Wilmington and more often than not the school will send you emails of what's going on downtown. Very convenient!
