Campus Life

The dining hall here is great! One swipe into the hall gets you as much food as you can eat and there is also a to-go option for people in a hurry. The food isn't always fantastic there, but it usually is pretty good and they try to give you a wide variety of foods as well.

Great food and environment! Honestly, this was the thing that made my transition to Capital University the easiest.

The food on and off campus is great. On campus food is served at specific times and if you miss the times food will be lacking.

There are several options for dining and there is almost always something open. The Main Dining room serves several different food styles so there is always something to fit ones taste. It may not be home cooking but it fulfills your needs.

Also many local eats surrounding the campus.

They're are a bunch of places on campus to eat with a variety of types of food. Also there are tons of places within walking distance of campus that range from Italian to Mexican to fast food. Many of the places are great, there's Piada, Chipotle, Starbucks, Wendy's and many other restaurants.

The food is great. The variety of food available is wonderful. The way of payment for the food is great too, you don't have to have cash with you, you swipe your card for one meal.

The dining situation is iffy, but steadily improving. Right now there is a distinct lack of options for vegetarian students (dramatically so for our vegan friends!) and not a whole lot of variability on the whole. We only have one main dining room (lovingly referred to as the MDR), with the other two dining locations only available for meal swipes after the MDR closes. Also, they're not open 24 hours, so if you're looking to get food after 11pm it's gonna have to be off campus. However, I will tell you that the food that is offered is generally very good (especially the Cru Club menu!).

It is college dining. Not as good as home cooking obviously. However, it has improved each year.

I absolutely LOVE Greek life at Capital! Here we think of it as Greek unity and that although we may all be a part of various organizations we all share a common love for Greek life and respect each other. About 17% of Capital students are involved in Greek life I believe and they have some really awesome campus activities and programming.

Greek Life is usually not respected among other colleges.

I do not participate in Greek life for a variety of reasons. However the people who do enjoy it.

Not allowed to have a sorority house nor a fraternity house, but they are still great.

There are a lot of Greek activities and organizations to choose from both fraternity and sorority.

There are many Greek organizations to choose from on campus.

I LOVE MY SORORITY! ASA! for life! You will meet some of the most amazing people in our greek life community. I highly recommend it.

There are no houses, but the Greek organizations are very active on campus.

Captial's greek life is growing. So if you want to join a group, I'm sure you will love it here.
