    The campus is set in a small town atmosphere, but in a way that's a good thing. You get to make your own fun with your friends, but when that doesn't work, the Smoky Mountains national park, as well as the tourist area of Gatlinburg are just about 30 minutes away.

    Go to football games. Go to Pigeon Forge or Knoxville. There is general fun on campus. It's just harder to get to know people there than it should be. And I'm pretty outgoing.

    You can go to the lake that is less than 5 minutes away. There are also caves that can be explored close by. The school is 20 minutes from both Knoxville and Pigeon Forge... aka Dollywood.

    The college is big on intramural sports teams and community service organizations. If you're worried about being bored, it will happen in a town like Jefferson City, TN so you should consider getting involved in a club or intramural team.

    Jefferson City is a very small town. My friends and I usually just hang out at the Dam near campus and watch movies, or travel into Morristown which is only 15 minutes away. Also, programs on campus set up activities to do on the weekends, during move in week, and finals week.
