Castleton is a small rural liberal arts school. Overall I would rate the school highly. The small community creates a family environment and nearly all of my professors go above and beyond, willing to help on their own time.

It is a very small college which is close to my home. I know a lot of people around campus which makes me feel safe. It provides excellent food, transportation services, and entertaining activities.

I would rate Castleton at a 8 out of 10. I love Castleton, I just don't like their food or bathrooms in the dorms. But they have a big heart.

Castleton is a small school with small classroom sizes. The work is easy compared to other schools, but the weekends are slow and the food is terrible.

great school, not worth the money

i love castleton state college; the fact that i can recognise people from all of my classes is my favorite part of going to a small school. the quality of education is amazing for the cost of tuition.

the school is pleasant enough but there are lots of hoops you need to jump through to get requirements finished. for example you need to take a soundings class where you pay for credits to attend theater/music/various other productions. i would steer away from attending this school as an out of state student. it is really expensive this way.
