For most students Castleton is the ideal option. It is cheap for Vermont students. However for those students who do not receive financial aid (like me) the cost is very much a burden. It would be very nice if there was more help offered to middle-class students. Also a friendlier financial aid staff would be nice.

There is not a lot to spend personal money on at the campus unless you go into the small town where there is a small diner and pizza place. If you have a car you can head into the city to go shopping or buy things that you need.
