There are some sports teams and clubs. It's in a college town, so there is shopping nearby. A bus is brought in every few weeks to tow students to the nearby shopping mall in Rockaway.

Although it is a small town, it has many school themed parties! There are places to eat out nearby like Applebees, Fridays, etc. that accept Cyclone Card discounts. (ID Cards)
