Categories Comments Great for these types of students Students who want to have their professors easily accessible for questions will love Central Christian College of Kansas. Those who want their professors to know them by name will love Central. If they want a close community with friendly people, students should come to Central. Those who want to grow in their Christian faith or want to learn more about God should come to Central. It is a wonderful place to enjoy a safe, friendly college experience.
Tips for prospective students My tip to prospective students would be to prepare yourselves to move from high school to college. Somethings work differently in college than they do in high school, but that does not have to be a bad thing. As long as you are willing to adjust, the changes can be made easily. Academically, be prepared for the professors to ask more of you than you think you can handle in the time you have. As long as you manage your time wisely, the homework can be done in time. Socially, be willing to involve yourself. The students I see having the hardest time are the ones who do not get involved on campus and are constantly negative about their new surroundings. Try to look for the good, be willing to try new things, and make new friends. Getting involved right away is the best way to make friends and feel pleased with your college experience.
Bang for the buck College prices are always scary; but, with financial aid and savings the price does not have to cause anyone to turn away. At Central, Financial Aid is very helpful. There are many scholarships for students to receive to help with the cost. Once a student starts life here he can see how valuable his experience is going to be. From academics to student activities, the college experience at Central Christian College is definitely one of the best.
Am enjoying being here The small campus community encourages close friendships among students. I am enjoying the friends I have made immensely. There are always plenty of events happening on campus. These events can be anywhere from a night of acoustic music to an afternoon of intramural sports. There are also plenty of service opportunities for students to get involved with. The chapel services are also a great way to learn about God and connect with Him through worship. Vespers is one of the best events at Central. Each Sunday night, a student led worship service (Vespers) takes place. It is so spiritually uplifting and challenging. The speakers and worship band are all students. It is a great time to learn from one another and worship together.
Am learning a lot Central Christian College of Kansas offers a wide variety of classes. The professors possess much knowledge in their fields. The small classes make it easy to have time to talk to the professors. The art classes are tailored to the stage each student is at. The sports teams are close and work hard to do well. The music department has their own building for performances. The quality of academics is high.

What to do for fun I work out and watch movies.
Tips for prospective students Go to this school if you want to have respectful staff, students and challenging learning.

Great for these types of students Family oriented, Christian, Home schooled, or students that are looking for a quality education without getting lost in the crowd.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Study Hall!!
Bang for the buck The atmosphere here is one of the main reasons that this school is special to me. I am a long way from my family and I need the closeness that I share here.
What to do for fun We attend all of the sporting events here and at McPherson College.
Food and Dining The food in Kansas is a little different because I am from the Mississippi Gulf Coast area and I am used to different kinds of food, but it is okay.
Dorm Life Dorm life is a blast!! All of my team mates and friends are like extended family.
Academic Rigor Classes are difficult but there is always there to lend a hand if you need help. Please take advantage of all the help that is available.
Tips for prospective students Central is in a small town and based on small town family values. The teachers are clued in to you on an individual basis and they care about you.
In three sentences Central Christian is a wonderful Christ based college. I not only learn academically but I also gain the knowledge of Christ and the love of a community. This school is like my second family.
