Central Lakes College-Brainerd has that small school feel with the multicultural diversity of a much larger school. I like the fact that they have many options of places to take classes, you aren't tethered to the main campus, but rather can find classes that suit you closer to home.

This is a commuter, non-traditional, campus. If you are looking for the college experience it is not here. Lots of PSEO students, and mature students. Most of the students know each other from high school and are not welcoming to new friends.

CLC is conveniently located, offers a variety of useful programs and class schedules, and has some faculty that is interested in your success, although not all are. It is an excellent place to begin a transfer to a new career, or prepare for transfer to a 4-year college.
