Categories Comments Campus Safety I feel safe attending CMMC School of Nursing as security is always nearby and escorts are always available.
Greek Life Students with high grade averages can get involved in high academic standing clubs.
Clubs and Activities As stated, there are lots of ways to get involved at CMMC School of Nursing. Aside from those things, I just inquired about being involved as part of the graduation committee!
Great for these types of students People who have a drive to help others, not just receive a big paycheck..
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus The school encourages students to get involved in fundraising for cancer or heart walks, etc. Every year there is the Dempsey Challenge hosted by Patrick Dempsey. There are many ways to get involved and feel good about helping others-- not just by going to school to become an RN! It is great because you can also get your friends and family involved!
Bang for the buck Being a 2-year college, the college is much more affordable than most places to get your RN degree. I chose CMMC School of Nursing because they offer excellent financial aid and has worked with me to get me in a comfortable spot should I need more help buying books, etc. The tuition is affordable and there is plenty of opportunity for financial help.
What to do for fun CMMC School of Nursing encourages students to get involved in the school's clubs and upcoming events through the school and hospital.
Food and Dining CMMC School of Nursing has a small and quaint kitchen area with snacks and drinks. However, because the school is in the heart of Lewiston, other places to get affordable meals are just footsteps away. As always, the hospital on campus has a cafeteria available.
Dorm Life Although CMMC School of Nursing does not have any dorms, they do provide on campus housing and the right person to help us should we want to live nearby.
Academic Rigor The faculty at CMMC School of Nursing make sure the students understand what they are doing and ask us questions to make sure we learn things the right way. We also have open class discussions about case studies and what we would do in certain situations to prepare us for whatever could happen in a real-life situation. We have been taught to think of patient safety first and foremost and satisfaction. We are taught how to effectively communicate, not only with our patients, but amongst ourselves. I am confident that CMMC School of Nursing will lead me to a bright and successful future.
Tips for prospective students My tip for prospective students would be to make friends and study buddies. These students will become some of your best friends and nursing family. Learning from each other and different ways of doing things will broaden your horizon and make you a better nurse.
In three sentences I just finished my first week here as a student and am very excited to see what the future holds for myself and my classmates. The faculty makes it fun and easy to learn in a safe environment and encourage students to learn from each other and through experience. I have no doubt that CMMC School of Nursing will lead me in the right direction to become the best nurse I can possibly be.

Categories Comments Food and Dining The hospital has a good menu, as well as a small coffee shop with pasteries. On campus, there are just vending machines available, but there are many options within walking distance
Dorm Life I live off campus
Academic Rigor The Radiologic Technology program is a full time program, 5 days a week, including 3 or 4 8-hour days of clinical experience. Time management and focus are required to keep up.
Tips for prospective students It's a great environment at CMMC CONHP, but bring your A-game. Organization and dedication are a must to advance
In three sentences CMMC CONHP is a wonderful school with caring and supportive faculty, and has an excellent learning environment. The combination of didactic and practical experience allows students to excel academically and professionally. I have been very happy with my experience at CMMC College of Nursing and Health Professions

Categories Comments Campus Safety Awesome! They are a call away and are willing to help with any questions or situations.
Greek Life We don't have sororities or fraternities here.
Clubs and Activities Not a lot of clubs or activities. You can become a class officer and help plan fundraisers or things for the program.
Great for these types of students This school only accepts the students they think are willing to put in the effort and succeed in the future, they don't want anyone who isn't academically prepared or interested in the profession for the money.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus The teachers are very down to earth who encourage bonding as a class and fundraisers for events such as the MSRT meetings in the spring.
Bang for the buck It's very well priced for being a private program but if you're not receiving financial aid it's expensive. You have to pay for books, scrubs, shoes, a lab coat, and gas for clinicals.
What to do for fun There are movie theaters, strip malls and plenty of places to eat around here but the school does not typically have activities for students to participate in unless you're fundraising.
Food and Dining This school doesn't have a meal plan.
Dorm Life The dorms are located up the hill and they're typical college dorms.
Academic Rigor This program is very difficult and you have to be academically disciplined to make it. If you don't put in the effort, you're not going to do as well as you want to.
Tips for prospective students You really need to have compassion in this profession and care about what you're doing. Every day is a challenge and no day is ever the same, every patient is different and the exams can be difficult but the sense of accomplishment is worth it.
In three sentences This is a fantastic school to learn Radiology at. The teachers are fantastic and funny! They care about your progress and want you to strive to be the best and do your best.
