    It can be extremely expensive to go to CMU, but so can any university. I almost went to a community college first, but I cannot express enough how fortunate and grateful I am to have chosen CMU as my university. I feel like I BELONG here. Every single penny is worth my time here.

    I think this depends on what you do and how well you study. If you join a lot of clubs, study abroad and get an internship I would say the bang for your buck is pretty good. However, if you are just going to party and study enough just to get by then I would say it's not worth it, but that goes for any college.

    Central gives out a lot of scholarships which keeps prices low. Another thing to keep in mind is you only have to live in the dorms for one year, which cuts your price in half for the next 3 years.
