    Definitely keep an open-mind while attending Central Piedmont Community College. It is one of the top five community colleges in the country, and the teachers, and staff definitely show you why. Take advantage of the information you're being given at a discounted price, as compared to a 4-year university...it will come in handy!

    Do not be shy, ask questions. Even if it makes you feel embarrassed, ask questions. Someone else might have that same question. And at least you will know. Also, take notes on everything. Write down almost everything the teacher says and why. You may understand it at the moment but if you forget it later and need something to jog your memory later on, those notes will help you tremendously.
