Central State University, as Ohio's only public Historically Black University, academically prepares students with diverse backgrounds and educational needs for leadership and service in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world. As an open access institution, the University fosters academic excellence through a strong liberal arts foundation and majors in selected professional fields.

Central State University is dedicated to:

    So far, I have enjoyed my stayed here. Like many HBCU's, Central State is not only a home away from home, but a community who view itself as a family. The only negative is the area that the school is located in.

    CSU is a small University to its like a second home. The people are nice and the school is very hospitable. Its easy to find things to do with all the clubs, activities, and organizations to participate.
