For fun you can go camping, if you like the gym we have a recreation center, we have rock climbing, many other fun activities.

There are plenty of things to do such as, join clubs, working out at the gym, going to sports activities, joining an intramural sport team, hanging out with friends, and join a fraternity. There are many other things too outside of these suggestions.

There isn't a whole lot to do for fun unless you enjoy the outdoors. The town is very small so most people just hang out at friends places or drive around.

The campus always puts on special entertainment in the dorms, like open mic, tournaments, video games, pool table and many other events. In the rec center you can always enjoy sports or weight lifting. Then, late at night on Mondays you can go watch a movie put on by the staff at CWU.

Go to movies, bowling, rodeo, sledding, hiking, and any outdoor activities.

Ellensburg is a small town, so there's not all that much to do compared to schools in Seattle. However, CWU is in the middle of the state so it's not too far of a drive or bus ride to other cities. On campus they have programs like free movies on Mondays, and individual residence halls have their own activities going on. There's also a lot of outdoor activities that University recreation puts on. CWU sort of has a party-school reputation, but I don't think it's really that much different from other universities.

What all college students do. Go out with friends, get involved in activities etc. And go swimming in the summer.

Central Washington University does an excellent job at having a lot of activities and events for students. The university's OPR (Outdoor Persuits & Rentals) is a lot of fun!
