Live on campus your first year, however, off campus housing is cheaper. Join as many clubs and activities as you can so you don't get bored. If you have a question or need help with anything don't be afraid to ask the teachers or students.

If you want to get away from home but not be to far away then you should come to Chadron. Also the Professor here are very helpful and you are not called on by a number and are called on by your name. Its small but not to small and its kind of big but not like a University.

Don't be afraid to get to know your professors. The professors have lots of students and if you go up and talk to them before or after class not only will you get brownie points but the teacher will be more likely to remember you. Also get involved in activities. You will meet people this way and you will get so much more out of the college experience!
