It's cold up here in Burlington, so make sure you own a winter jacket. Bring a car if you want to get anywhere outside of Burlington. Inquire if your dorm laundry machines will take the Champlain Cash Card because it's way more convenient than using quarters. Bring only the essentials and some wall decorations.

If you are wanting a personal education that will make you job-ready, Champlain is for you! The programs are constantly changing to form to advances in society. Visit the campus before making a decision. The dorms are Victorian era mansions and may not be for everyone. Really do your research and apply early, some programs require a portfolio submission to get in. Apply with plenty of time to complete that. Be aware of deadlines.

Make sure that you're prepared for the LEAD program (do your research) or you'll be grumbling a lot. Take a tour, take advantage of our gym, and don't be afraid to join the clubs. Everyone is friendly, including the professors. Every one was on a first name basis with all their students.
