Downtown Burlington is THE place to go for all things cool. Art exhibits, live music, numerous bars, fine dining, unique shops and much more are featured on the beloved cobblestone Church Street, which serves as the centerpiece to downtown Burlington. Not to mention that downtown is lined by the gorgeous Lake Champlain, the largest non-Great Lakes lake in the U.S.

On the weekends there are shuttles that'll take you to the mountains to ski and snowboard. There is a center that has 2 pool tables and a ping pong table. Music shows is one of the most popular activity around.

Going down to Church Street with some friends is always fun! Even without shopping, just walking downtown is fun! If you aren't wanting to walk- especially when it's cold- there is a lot to do on campus, like monthly bowling or movie nights!

The RAs plan at least one event each month for the dorm and there are usually social events on campus every weekend. There are plenty of clubs to join as well. You can also walk right down to Church Street for food, shopping, or just hanging out. There is a movie theater within walking distance. Champlain students also get free rides on the public transportation.

Check out Burlington! It's honestly the best small city out there. I recomend the Vermont Pub and Brewery, Halversons, Uncommon Ground, Mirabelles, and the Roxy. If you get a chance check out free shows on church street, the art hope, Burlington Book Festival and a show at the Flynn Theater. Craving take out? 1-800-togo. Monday and Tuesday delivery is free during a certain time.

If you don't drink, your Saturday nights are probably going to be pretty dormant. Parties are really boring sober. The SGA organizes fun evening stuff like free trips to the movies and crafting. Church Street and walking around Burlington is great for warm days and winter sports for winter weekends.
