Around Town

This is community college, chances are you know the area already. Occasionally there are interesting school functions where you may get free food, but don't expect too much exciting campus life.

At least once a semester there are barbeques in front of the student center during the warmer months, and occasionally art students will have their work set up for viewing. I've heard that ping-pong in the student center gets pretty intense, too.

Join clubs and get involved in Student Life activities.

Unfortunately I never found many fun things to do on campus, unless you join clubs or are involved in sports. But after all, CGCC is a Community College.

Join a club! The clubs on campus are great and the more you get involved the more you learn actually, which is great and works out to your benefit nicely in the long run!

Joining in clubs around campus is a great way to get to know new people and be involved in the school. Just because it is a community college doesn't mean fun activities aren't going on around campus. Take part and it makes the experience that much more.

There are also seasonal activities that goes on around campus such as, Costume Party, Adopt a Family and certain clubs provide food and fun activities that show what their club is all about. There is also a Student Center that has a ping pong table for students to use to spare time.

There are clubs that you can join, it all depends on what your interest are.

There is the Student Pavilion that has ping pong tables, TV's and couches where students can hang around at. There are plenty of clubs who hold events of activities for students to participate in.

I hangout with my team and other athletes in the student center during my free time. You will also find me in the library as well.
