Categories Comments Campus Safety
The campus is extremely safe. All areas are well lit and surveillance cameras around campus. Security is on campus before anyone arrives and is on campus until the last person leaves. They are very friendly and provides safe walk services to anyone who requests it.
Clubs and Activities
There are many health related activities and clubs at CDU. Great hands on experience working at health fairs and networking with medical professionals.
Bang for the buck
Although CDU is a private institution it is affordable and cheaper than the public universities in L.A.
What to do for fun
There are many things to to in greater L.A. from scenic to adventurous excursions. I love the whole scale. If you are looking to just relax or study CDU has a quit library as well as a student lounging area.
Food and Dining
There are many places to eat in L.A. and a variety of grocery stores for you to shop at. Due to the fact that I have to cook for myself, I have learned to try a variety of cuisines.
You can choose to live with roommates which I have experienced but is a little expensive to do. For now I live with a family member.
The course work can be difficult if you are not attentive, do not read and if you do not seek the resources made available to help you excel.
Tips for prospective students
It is important to note the student to professor ratio because you will need letters of recommendation and if the professor knows you well and not just by a letter grade it enlightens your letter!
In three sentences
