In three sentences Diverse and universal at the same time is how I would describe Charter Oak State College. The online education experience is above any other academic institution's that I have tried. The faculty is helpful, knowledgable and involved in your education.

Categories Comments Campus Safety I'm not sure about the physical campus and how safe it is, but it is located in a pretty small city.
Greek Life The Greek life on campus is almost non-existent.
Clubs and Activities There is not much of a variety, but there are some activities.
Great for these types of students Non-traditional students, students who have done some college before and have credit they would like to put toward earning a degree. This school is also great for the type of students who want know what they want and what kind of degree they need for their established career they are pursuing or will pursue.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus I have never been to the campus, I am an online student.
Bang for the buck To get the most out of your money be prepared with a plan of what courses you want to take and an idea of when you plan on finishing your degree program.
What to do for fun If you're an online student, there are virtual gatherings and social activities.
Food and Dining I'm not sure if there is an actual meal plan. But I am sure there are some dining facilities just not as big.
Dorm Life There aren't any dorms available on campus for it is a non-traditional campus environment.
Academic Rigor Courses are interesting and most of the professors are great instructors and often communicate one on one with students. The assignments themselves involved much reading, writing, and discussion among other classmates.
Tips for prospective students Be prepared to take a cornerstone course filled with lots of writing and resume making. Have an immediate idea of what kind of courses you want to take. This school is geared toward helping students finish their degree.
In three sentences It's an ideal school for those who want to make use of their past credits and finish their degree. It's also great for those who want to enroll in a degree completion program. Overall, if you are a non-traditional student I would rate this school with an average grade.
