Take an art class, dance class, pe class, or anything else you ever wanted to take. It is a great school for exploration.

It's not a social school, just a place to learn and then leave. Don't expect to be surrounded by tons of new buddies.

Watch baseball games!

Enjoy the many outdoor trails of the campus and meet new people with the same interests as you.

Being at chemeketa is fun. I like hanging out with friends. You stay in touch with a lot of people from the community and from your previous high school.

Travel by city bus to local movie theaters, shopping centers, and parks and museums downtown. Parks and museums would take a 30 minute bus ride on the city bus.

There is lots of clubs, and groups to join. It helps you meet new people, and get familar with the campus.

There are many student activites for the socially inclinded, i.e gayla parties (non-alochoclic)

Chemeketa sometimes shows movies. They have a tennis, volleyball, and basketball court, a gym, and a track. Students are free to form clubs of their own and meet in the college. The planetarium has a show every week, and the cultural center will sometimes have guest speakers. There is also a small art gallery that features different respected artists' work.

There are many things around campus to do for fun, such as, planetarium, plays, many groups that one can join. Also study groups after hours, shopping in the student bookstore. The list goes on and on.
