    If you can not go home on weekends get creative with activities to keep yourself entertained. Attend class because there is an attendances policy. You can only skip class certain amount of time about you automatic F.

    Bring your car with you. Be very open minded. Stand strong for what you believe in. Be sure to do your research on the campus and environment. Research their academics and academic catalogs. Research their transfer rates and drop outs. Research their organizations and clubs. Be sure to do your RESEARCHH!

    Coming to the campus you will learn really fast that your parents are no longer at your toes about your room, classes,etc. The biggest tip is to stay focus and don't be afraid to ask questions. Of course you don't want to seem like you don't know things, but it's better to learn to do it the right way and you just might make a new friend.
