Christopher Newport University is a 4-year public liberal arts university in the Norfolk area. CNU is home to departments of Business, Natural Sciences, Arts & Humanities, and Social Sciences with all degree-granting programs focused on a liberal learning core. To provide a break from academia, CNU schedules outdoor adventure trips each semester featuring activities such as skiing and ziplining. For athletically inclined students, CNU fields 18 teams including men’s and women’s sailing squads.
