    Campus Safety

We do have Security Guards on campus at all times 24/7

    Clubs and Activities

We have SGA (Student Goverment Association), Clinton Ensemble, NAACP, and STEM Club.

    What to do for fun

For fun usually SGA will host activites such as Movie Nights, Parties, Talents shows, etc; . We also have basketball games (boys and girls) so its fun going out to support them.

    Food and Dining

Food and Dining is ok. Theres not too many complaints about the food since it became under new management. You have a variety of meals survived. And there's breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

    Dorm Life

Dorm Life can be pretty cool at CJC. My freshman year i was a little scared at first. I cried like the first whole week there. But i got use to it. Its fun meeting new people and you learn so much when you all are living together. It literally becomes one big happy family !

Students who want to party and do not want education.

    What to do for fun

Nothing. No clubs. No extracurricular if you are not on basketball team.

    Food and Dining

    Ok.

    Dorm Life

Very gossipy and dangerous. There was a stabbing there and there are break ins.

    Academic Rigor

It's a joke. The professors don't have emails or office hours.

    Tips for prospective students

    Don't go here!!!!!

    In three sentences

Staff must have written prior reviews. Clinton college is not a college but a juvenile center. 99% of students smoke pot and do not own books.

    Campus Safety

    There is 24-hour security.

    Clubs and Activities

I was the President of the STEM club, which was probably on its last leg and probably will dissipate in upcoming semesters. Clubs are a great way to meet new people with similar interest but you'll need a faculty leader who you can really learn from and has some insight on the topics, not just buy you pizza.

    Bang for the buck

There is NO bang at all for the buck. This is what really disturbed me about this school. Due to policy many schools do not accept the credits from Clinton because they currently aren't accredited through SACS. They are accredited through TRACS which is mainly for bible colleges. So if you are majoring in Religion, you are the reason for that lonely 1/5 star, but for the other 3 or 4 majors you're kind of wasting your money or going into debt with a high chance you may not get to transfer to the school of your choice even with excellent grades. Livingstone is always an option though. I was lucky enough to get 30 of my credits transferred to my current school in DC by advocating for myself and having others advocate for me but the school does not accept Clinton's credits and the Dean of my current college had to write a letter to the admissions office in order for my general studies classes to be accepted.

    What to do for fun

I played basketball, and LOVED the program. The coaches are great and really try to develop you athletically, especially if you want to transfer and continue playing. There are clubs and organizations you can get involved with that have functions. There will be many days where you are extremely bored though, just remember An idle mind is the devil's playground.

    Food and Dining

I am a Nutrition and Dietetics major currently and of all the struggles I faced at Clinton, the food was the biggest for me. There is no kitchen in the dorm, and you have to get the meal plan if you live on campus, so you're really forced to eat it. The pasta bar is really the best part, but it's never been up for a whole semester while I was there, I'll just leave it at that. Good luck, especially to the athletes.

    Dorm Life

Dorm life was pretty fair for me. Do well and get the highest GPA, you'll get the best room.

    Academic Rigor

Will not prepare you for the next level apart from the University Calculus class which averages 3 or 4 students per year.

    Tips for prospective students

Make sure they have their accreditation through SACS not TRACS, if not, save your money and go to another school that does, you'll have better chances of transferring this way. If you still decide to go, get involved in everything you can. You'll need positive and constructive ways to past the time because your coursework will not do it.

    In three sentences

I would give Clinton College a 5/10. The five is because the faculty there really want to see you succeed and are helpful, but there is only so much they can do with the accreditation. The academic rigor is very low also and won't really prepare you for a four year university.

    Bang for the buck

This institution is a stepping stone for higher learning. With small class sizes and close attention from teachers, students are on their way to great works.

    What to do for fun

We are in close proximity to other universities. We often link up with them to put on different activities such as, parties, cookouts, volunteer opportunities, and much more.

    Food and Dining

Food services are buffet style with home cooked southern meals featured daily.

    Dorm Life

Dorm life is fun and exciting. Students always find creative ways to enjoy themselves.

    Academic Rigor

Help is provided when needed. tutors are put in place and instructors give their personal numbers if extra help is required.

    Tips for prospective students

Come ready for every opportunity that will be presented to you. Come with an open mind and a driven spirit. Be an individual in your surroundings and make your own path.

    In three sentences

It is a small and close knit community of students and staff. Here you can get the one on one attention that is essential for every college student. You are not just a number at this institution and your growth and development is important to the administration staff.
