So far, the academics at this school are not too challenging, but the professors do keep me on my toes. As part of the Honors Program I was given many opportunities and was able to adjust rather quickly into college life and academics.

It is the perfect distance from a large city, giving you either as much or as little isolation from the city life as you want. The campus is in the process of renovation, but is still beautiful.

» Read MoreSeemed disorganized, indifferent and not welcoming. We specifically traveled to see a specific department and receive a tour during their open house. There was no tour and only a presentation which we were not told about until after it had started. Disappointing because I called the admissions office and was told there would be a tour and a table set up to speak wth a department. The department had no table, no tour and only a presentation which we missed because we were unaware of it. Even the representative we met from the department seemed disinterested in helping us and could not have been more aloof. I am glad this happened, as we now know this is not the place for a student who would like to be known as a person and receive attention from department heads and teaching staff. This place left us cold. We have visited more than 20 colleges and this was by far the most disappointing visit to date. Even the check in person was curt. Moving on....Good bye Brockport!
