Shopping, or just a trip to the beach is always fun. The beach isn't far at all. Even just going to the Battery right down the street can be fun. There is always some kind of sporting event going on, and a lot of activities hosted by various clubs. There are free movie night Monday's where they play very up to date movies and even offer free food and sometimes prizes.
