Professors at CofC are truly invested in their students. They urge students to get help during office hours and do their best to make sure you are learning the material. The majority of the courses I have taken are challenging yet interesting which is an excellent combination.

College of Charleston is a great school for certain majors, mainly the humanities and arts. The science program at COFC isn't bad but it is mostly popular to the proximity of MUSC. The faculty can be a bit touchy and lazy.» Read More

If you don't want to gain that freshman fifteen, it is ideal because of all of the walking to and from classes and just all around downtown.
