Tons of clubs, fun classes (including a study abroad program!), and it's a quick drive away from other restaurants in the area.

At COD, there is fun everywhere. From the student lounge that is home to Alter Ego Productions putting on live bands and free foods, to the MAC theatre hosting a large menagerie of artists like Colbie Caillat and the Cherry Poppin' Daddies. At the Student Life office, they plan a ton of free and fun things for students to do. From free popcorn events, to outdoor movie nights, and scavenger hunts, COD offers tons of things for people to do.

The clubs are always great fun, but there are also numerous arts shows available in the McAnich Arts Center.

There are plenty of extra curricular activities for students to choose from, so if you want to get involved attend one of the extra curricular activity fairs!

People are always around in the halls, so it is very easy to make friends. In the Student Life Center, people play video and card games. Sometimes there are different organized events such as Open-Mic or Fashion Shows.

Since COD is a commuter school, a lot of students struggle with having fun. There are many clubs and activities that the school sponsors that can be fun though. I suggest making friends from classes, or keeping friends from high school to hang out with on and off campus.

The campus almost always has an event going on somewhere, and has special events at the start of Fall semester to welcome new students. Most school events are hosted by Alter Ego, though there are many other events not hosted by them. They have a party during Halloween which I've heard is pretty fun, and cheap to get into. In addition, the school as many clubs for students to join, and students are more than welcome to create their own club as long as they get a minimum number of students willing to attend it before applying for its official status, and I think an instructor to supervise it. Besides clubs, the Main Campus has its Student Life lounge, where may students hang out to watch TV, socialize, play trading card games, play instruments, and generally have fun. The pool table room and video game lounge is also located here, but cost a fee to get the equipment to play. If you split the cost with your friends, however, it's very cheap.

Meeting people is way too easy and the clubs are very active. Very close to a major shopping center and downtown area.
