With an annual student enrollment rate of well over 17,000, the only major issue I see confronting CLC is its individual attention to each and every student. Although the school affords its students many opportunities to branch out, get involved and meet new people, the onus really is on the individual to jump start the process. Simply put, make sure to be proactive and do things like talk to your professors during office hours, take random interesting courses that do not neatly fit into your major and become involved for a cause on campus. Doing this will allow you to truly experience, as you will be able to learn inside and outside of the classroom and perhaps in the process do some networking for your future field of study/work.

Research your teachers online for the upcoming semester and that will give you a head's up on what they may be like. But always remember that the reviews can be both very negative and overly positive. So take them with an open mind.

I would definitely come here first to explore options before going to a 4-year school. They have so many activities to get involved in, the teachers are great, and there's a lot of free food :)

The rates for professors on rate my professor are not always accurate. Most teachers are easy going and considerate. Take advantage of the learning centers! Make sure your schedule is not overwhelming; pick your classes wisely.
