Around Town

The College of Lake County benefits from its physical proximity to both Chicago and Milwaukee and the numerous towns and villages in between to the point that there is always something to do. Although this is probably its greatest strength, CLC also offers many activities for its community members to enjoy. Activities like lectures by esteemed figures and recreational events are always happening around campus and most often they are offered for free.

I'm not a traditional student so I don't do many of the campus life activities but they look like fun.

There are movie nights, plenty of performing arts entertainment, clubs, groups, study groups, and a ton of different people you will create new relationships with.

CLC offers many clubs. I usually attend the student activities that they have going on.

They have a lot of clubs that you can join and there's always something going on with the clubs!

They always provide all sorts of activities, lectures, courses, and so forth. There's always something to do, somewhere to go, something to learn. It's great!

There are many clubs and sports you can join. They also have work-study, which is pretty nice.

You can enjoy some clubs, watch a Lancer basketball game, or just relax in the study areas.

On campus for the first week there are many activities, movie time, singing, free food.. if your hungry and don't have any classes for awhile. Also in the James Lumber Center there is an amazing discount on tickets to shows like one is coming up called Cirque Ziva. It just depends on you own preference. The mall is ten-fifteen minutes away.Six Flags Great America, Key Lime Cove indoor water park. Go figure if you have a Iphone!!!
