Categories Comments Great for these types of students CVA is great for anyone who has an open mind and is willing to work from the bottom up and really learn the ins and outs of what it means to be an artist in any field you'd like.
Tips for prospective students I would strongly suggest visiting campus so you can really get a feel for the campus life!
Bang for the buck It is very expensive because of all the supplies needed as an arts student, but honestly there is so much information given everyday that I really do feel like I am getting the education that I am paying for. I cannot deny, however, that it is very expensive and difficult to pay for.
Am enjoying being here CVA is a very open community where everyone is very comfortable with each other, which is so important when you're learning how to present your own art.
Am learning a lot The teachers of the studio classes are all current artists so they can relate to what we are trying to achieve.

Categories Comments Campus Safety There is a guard that checks on things every few hours or you can call them.
Greek Life none
Clubs and Activities Im not even sure. Illustration club at least.
Great for these types of students You must be talented and ambitious or you wont make it passed midterms.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Scenery is nice, and they go all out on decorations.
Bang for the buck Its too bad that the school costs so much and they dont even feed you everyday.
What to do for fun There are only 1-3 clubs. All the fun is being with friends.
Food and Dining There is a vending machine in most buildings, but bring your own food.
Dorm Life There are many students who drive from home or find an apartment near buildings.
Academic Rigor CVA has brilliant students and professors, for good reason. Every program is rigorous to prepare students for the real world.
Tips for prospective students Apply for financial aid. Apply for loans. Apply for scholarships. Always have money on hand and have a job.
In three sentences The teacher to student ratio is small so students can have more time with professors. There is no cafeteria or on campus housing, but there are resources off of campus. Not spacious, but comfortable in most rooms.
