You will find great professors at William and Mary, and not just in the upper level courses. There will always be the dud teachers, but most truly want to be there to teach, not just to do research. It the ideal place for them to do both and they are very passionate about students and involving them in their research.

It's a great place for people who are serious about academics- without taking themselves 2 srsly. The students here are also nicer than you would ever believe. No matter who you are and where you come from, William & Mary has something for you.

William and Mary is a school filled with an eclectic group of students. At this school, all those different personalities mix to form the Tribe, a group of talented and dedicated scholars who have the ability to set aside differences and make friends with some of the most interesting people you'll ever meet. The Tribe is like a larger family who will support and be supported by all others who claim the Tribe.

Beautiful campus that puts you right in the middle of History. It is literally across the street from historic Williamsburg.

William and Mary brings the phrase academically challenging to a new level for many students including me. The professors are willing to talk to and joke with you, students are very friendly and it really is a diverse place in terms of personalities. The College is simply amazing on so many levels.

William and Mary offers a rigorous academic experience in a beautiful and historic setting. It's a small, close knit community which values academics, but isn't huge on sports or greek life. Its' main population are Virginia natives, but there are fair number of out of state students and international students.

W&M is a great medium/small school if you want a small class size and a lot of interaction with professors. Their government/international relations department in particular is great, and I would consider nearly all the students to be good people. If you are looking for an academically-rigorous smaller school with a public school price tag, consider W&M.

The historical site of campus, in addition to the the scenic landscaping and elegant buildings, make William and Mary a great place to spend 4 years studying. As far as the environment goes, W&M is all about tradition, scholarship, and family. While the athletics aren't top notch and the weather isn't amazing, the scholarship and attitude of the students is by far the best.

An education at the College of William and Mary is designed to be academically rigorous in that the student must learn how to think critically and use concepts learned as a practical application to the real world. Frankly, it is extremely difficult and set to push you to your limits. However, if you excel at this institution, you will find an abundance of career opportunities after graduation.
