» Read MoreThis college is in the center of all the malls, restaurants, gyms, and tourists sites. There is always something to do here. Whether if you're hanging out with friends at the mall, right after classes are over. Or heading over to fast-food joints to grab a quick bite to eat.

» Read MoreBeing that College of the Desert is located in the relatively small city of Palm Desert (a part of the Palm Springs area), there is not much of a night life for those under the age of say, 75. But if you truly look, there will always be more that meets the eye. There is a Westfield mall directly across the street from the college, and a large theater/restraunt/entertainment strip mall to be found at The River shopping center in Rancho Mirage.
