there are a lot of clubs to get involved in, but good luck finding out what they're

I enjoy going to the movies, reading books, swimming, listening to music, and day dreaming about the person im striving to become. I also enjoy sitting under big trees and listening to all the different noises they make if your are really quiet.

This college is in the center of all the malls, restaurants, gyms, and tourists sites. There is always something to do here. Whether if you're hanging out with friends at the mall, right after classes are over. Or heading over to fast-food joints to grab a quick bite to eat.

There is many clubs for you to join and they have many other programs and many sports to join. There is also a mall very close to C.O.D , so when you wait for class you can go check out the stores or just hang in the mall.

It's in the Palm Springs area so unless you golf, there isn't a whole lot to do.

Being that College of the Desert is located in the relatively small city of Palm Desert (a part of the Palm Springs area), there is not much of a night life for those under the age of say, 75. But if you truly look, there will always be more that meets the eye. There is a Westfield mall directly across the street from the college, and a large theater/restraunt/entertainment strip mall to be found at The River shopping center in Rancho Mirage.

I wouldn't know - I've never been to college events.

There are always activities going on somewhere, whatever your interests. There are political clubs, media clubs, and group activities weekly on campus. Nobody gets left behind.
