I would definitely meet with an academic counselor who can point you in the right direction for classes, even if you don't know what you want to do. I wasted my first year just taking classes to try to fill my general education requirements; I met with a counselor and now have a better idea of the classes I need to take. The Welcome Center is incredible for helping and the orientation for students was very informative and easy to understand. Everyone at the College of the Siskiyous is really nice and really helpful. read full review
Although this is a small school, if you stick to the UC transferable courses you will learn a lot. I feel like I learn a lot everyday and the teachers are pretty great and they enjoy what they're teaching. read full review
