There are many skateparks in the Denver-metro area. Everyone plays video games here, so you can always find something to play. Also CSM offers team, club, and intramural sports. Its a great way to get out and do something if you have the time. There is also an Outdoor Recreation Center dedicated to satisfying everyones wilderness/adventuring/exploring needs. Weekend trips are common here as the ORC rents out all of your camping gear needs.

This town is famous for the Coors factory and our school song is even about drinking. The things I do in my freetime are: slacklining, video games, anime club, FIJI (fraternity), and Pathfinder. Being in a fraternity grants me a lot of opportunities to do way more than I would otherwise, like IM sports and volunteering.

» Read MoreGolden is right up against the foothills, so hiking just about anywhere is fun. Clear Creek runs through the town and you can tube down it, although I don't suggest it. I have lived in Golden all my life and I have seen what people do in the Creek. Plus cadmium deposits from old mines upstream sometimes run off into it.
