Definitely keep an eye out for posters and advertisements on the plaza. There's almost always something interesting going on from a movie premier night to a Harry Potter Gala/Ball. There's hiking nearby and Old Town is a great place to shop and wander.

There are so many things, from clubs to playing sports, to just relaxing around town. Campus being in the center of town makes it easier to travel around the city and relax at the parks that there are.

College isnâ??t always the stereotypical crazy parties on weekends. In fact, while they do happen that isnâ??t what I would really consider thriving in the real college experience at all. There is always something happening in a college town, especially on campus. There are activities to do for every person. One of the benefits to our sports teams mediocrity is free student tickets, so suit up and cheer on our RAMS! You can hang out, literally, on the rock wall or relax in the hot tub and lazy river at the rec center. When the weather is warm the IM fields are packed with ultimate Frisbees games, so go on get some friends together or join a game already happening. You can hike Horsetooth or the A or go fishing in the reservoir. Not so much of an athletic person, never fear neither am I. There are all types of movie showings, concerts, speeches and tons of events with FREE food. If all else fails stroll through Old Town, dance the night away at SunDance or bring out your inner child at FortFun. The hardest part is convincing your self to go out and accept that there is always something fun to do. So grab a friend or two or twenty or fly solo and make new friends when you get there. Just say yes and go. Its amazing with the amount of things there are to do how everyone gets stuck doing the same thing. In the end, college is a lot of work but it is the last time in your life before you are weighed down with responsibility. Have fun, be safe and enjoy all of your time at Colorado State.

There are lots of activities students can do while in school. The Rec Center is a great place to workout or play basketball. We even have indoor rock climbing! There's also lots of activities to do outside of school such as hiking up to the 'A' or going skiing during the winter.

Huge intramural fields in the center of campus for all sorts of games. Volley ball nets outside and a world class gym complete with rock climbing wall. We are also one of the top bike friendly community for awesome bike rides in the city or in the mountains that are conveniently just on our boarders.
