Always check to make sure you actually need the books for your classes before you buy them. I think I've used my books regularly for only 5 out of 12 classes. Don't buy something you don't need and waste your money.

You could go here for many reasons, it is a low-cost school, it is in your area, or, like myself, you just want to start earning credits so you can later attend another college/university. Whatever your reason is, CCAC can provide it. I find it a good place to start a college career, I would never hesitate to ask any of my teachers anything, they usually have great availability, and help is always around the corner , if needed. The classes are not too hard either, but not too easy, as the goldilocks theory would put it: It is just right! For the low cost, you more than get your moneys worth out of CCAC!

Look at all other colleges. Online professors can be unhelpful and have poor program schedules. Be prepared receive little to no help from staff.

Stay on the ball as far as financial aid and registration processes go and you shouldn't have any problems. The office staff always seems to be accommodating and helpful. Boyce Campus is very nice overall.
