    Clubs and Activities

There is so much going on club-wise on campus. I was in at least four clubs last semester. I was never without something fun to do.

    What to do for fun

On campus, there's always a party to be at somewhere. Clubs are constantly hosting exciting events. The game-room is often full of people playing ping-pong and pool. The volleyball court and tennis courts are also heavily used for fun. Off campus, Manhattan is only a short train-ride away. Downtown is full of anything and everything one could possibly want to do. There are lots of places to eat in the surrounding area as well, if one can't always afford the train.

    Food and Dining

The dining is about what one would expect from any college- I mean, it's not fantastic. However, the staff are incredibly accommodating. If one has any allergies or food restrictions, the staff are willing to cater to the meal to them so that they can stay healthy and well-fed.

    Dorm Life

The all-women's dorm is pleasant and mostly quiet, with a lively lounge always full of people ready to marathon the entirety of the Lord of the Rings. In. One. Night. Dorms are very close to classes, and kept fairly clean. Good sense of community among residents.

    Academic Rigor

Thus far I have found the academics to be interesting, but entirely unchallenging. If you're willing to do work, you'll do well.

    Tips for prospective students

Be sure that you're cut out for a small campus. Be aware that the small classes mean that professors will notice if you're skipping or just floating by. This can be a good motivator if you let it be, or it can be detrimental to your grades.

    In three sentences

Concordia offers a familial setting. The location is beautiful, the staff and faculty helpful, and the classes small. It is a lovely little small-town college in big-city proximity.
