Around Town

About a mile away is downtown Oak Park, where they have different shops as well as dining options. The town also holds numerous events throughout the year. There is also the option of taking the El to downtown Chicago, which is about a half hour ride. Once downtown, there are a million things to do.

Get involved in Concordia's many student activity groups, such as frisbee club, dance club, or music ensembles.

20 minutes out of Chicago? Endless possibilities. We also team up with the local movie theatre once a month for $3 movie tickets, and we have pool tables and ping pong tables. Also: Ultimate Frisbee, usually in our quad area. :)

Have fun! Join a club! Also, the theatre isn't a bad place to hang if you can tolerate the theatre kids and you like theatre. CYM is extremly fun too. Also, gaming club is so much fun! Toss a frisbee around when its nice.

Since CUC is so close to both Downtown Chicago and Oak Park, students have the opportunity of stating on campus for event or going down to Lake Street or even visiting Wrigley Field.

There many activities on campus for students. Also there are many clubs students can get involved with during the year. The school also forms a lot of field trips for students.

From campus, downtown Oak Park is less than a mile away. You can find eateries, small shops, and theater. There is also a train station that takes you to downtown Chicago. It's a nice easy trip that is a lot of fun and not very costly.

There are so many activities and clubs that could be joined. They have numerous things going on that can keep you preoccupied. Most activities are student led.
