“the dorms are small and not particularly nice and updated. the bathrooms are communal. basically they are typical freshmen dorms. however, brand new upperclassmen dorms were just built and are…”
“the dorm life is is average. there is usually something going on and it feels like a little family within the dorms. …”
“dorm life is just like any. you share a room your freshman year with one other person and communal bathrooms are tolerable once you get used to them. plus creighton…”
they offer a wide selection of food for any persons palette. This more then just variety, but also in terms of convenience also.
» Read MoreThe dining halls are nice. There are tons of selections to choose from. There are various places to eat on campus as well aside from the dining halls where meal plans are accepted. The staff at each dining location are very approachable and kind-hearted.
» Read MoreThe selection of food on campus is for the most part normal with to major dinner halls and a small grocery story and a full restaurant. Around the campus is right next to downtown which has a major selection of places to eat. Within a mile of the school their are over 40 place to eat from fast food to dine in restaurant.
» Read MoreThe food is nothing to rave about. It's the typical food that any average college offers. However, at least once a month, one of the dining halls offers a premium night, in which they serve steak and seafood, so that makes up for the average food.
» Read MoreThe food is not that great. Think, your high school cafeteria but just revamped with a lot more food options and nicer dining. I was amazed to see that they have a salad bar every day and grill options such as grilled chicken, cheeseburgers, hamburgers, and a deli section everyday. It was nice to know there are some healthy options out there for you if you are trying to avoid the freshman 15. However, I found that they use a lot of butter in preparing their foods and I don't like butter so I found it displeasing. Also, I was eating the rice one day, and noticed a weird taste to it. It wasn't the usual semi-sweet taste I was familiar with but a buttery taste.... I came to the conclusion that they had buttered the rice and from then on I never touched it again.
» Read MoreThere are almost no healthy options and the food available on campus is extremely low quality. It is very difficult for a vegan or vegetarian to get a well-rounded, healthy diet.
» Read MoreThere are two main dining halls and depending on what dorm you are in you have three meals close to where you live. Once you get bored of the meals in one hall there is always another and different choices to choose from. There are many options for vegetarians and normal eaters and it changes every day.
» Read MoreThe dining at Creighton is not excellent, but edible. You can always find something to eat at the two main dining halls: Brandeis and Becker. Creighton has meal exchange where you can use in a few other locations on campus to get a delicious treat when you want something besides dorm food.
» Read MoreThere's a buffet, but it's easy to try everything and then get sick of it. Al lot of people I know will eat pizza constantly. It's sodexo, which is horrible if you ask me. Not gluten-free friendly, easy to gain weight.
» Read MoreThere are so many different options of dining facilities whether it is on the go or sitting down with your friends.
» Read MoreI am not apart of Greek life on the campus, however I have heard good things.
» Read MoreGreek Life is a well known extravaganza come spring semester. The ladies and gentlemen go out for recruitment for the sorority or fraternity the think will fit them best. There are a number of fraternity and sorority chapters that exist on Creighton's campus, so there are many options to choose from.
» Read MoreWe have 30+ greek organizations on campus. They range from the typical greek life, to multicultural to business.
» Read MoreExtremely active. Most popular way of getting involved.
» Read MoreThere are many Fraternities and Sororities all of which freshman can join in the Spring of their first year during rush week. Many activities like bowling pizza and community service are all qualities of most of the Greek life at Creighton.
» Read MoreThere are quite a few sororities and fraternities, and they are very important at Creighton. Can't be considered until second semester of freshman year.
» Read MoreGreek life on campus is activity and they dont treat you differently. They are always open and want to provide assistance. I can't wait until next year so I can pledge.
» Read MoreThere are a lot of Fraternities and Sororities, but there are no Frat houses or Sorority houses. They are more like close clubs.
» Read More30% of students are greek, we do not have official on campus housing for it so it gives it a different feel but I know there are many off-campus frat and sorority houses and they both have great philanthropies and events.
» Read MoreStudents aren't allowed to rush until second semester of their freshman year. Sororities and fraternities do have houses, but only for upperclassmen (as underclassmen are required to live in the dorms). There is partying, but not as much as most schools.
