I suppose being a christian institution would weird unbelievers out of loitering in and around it. But the campus is not in a good part of town.

Great for these types of students

Great for students (christian or non-christian) who want to learn a more objective (christian) method of bible study. Great for those who want to learn theology and how to do systematic theology.

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

    2012: Jeans allowed

    Bang for the buck

As of Fall 2012, 16 hours costs $7,400 per semester.

    What to do for fun

Read random books in the library. There is also a voluntary choir that meets for rehearsal in CAC every tuesday around 1030-12.

    Food and Dining

There's a cafe which I have yet to visit.

    Dorm Life

Swiss Tower is really nice. It has some security like a gate with a card key lock.

    Academic Rigor

Hopefully you like learning Greek and Hebrew.

    Tips for prospective students

Get used to reading theological material. C.S. Lewis is a good start for first year students. Slowly work you way up to more advanced writing like Calvin's Institutes of the Christian Religion or Kierkegaard's work like the compilation book, Spiritual Writings. (Read How to read a book)

It has internationally influential professors who will make you work/study hard. The campus is clean, however it is in a bad part of town. There are also many different concentrations one of which is philosophy.

    Academic Rigor

Prepare to be frustrated but know that it's okay. The processors are more than happy to help in anyway possible!

    Tips for prospective students

Prepare yourself for the work load, regardless of what program your in. Plan out your entire month so you won't be blind sided or feel rushed for time when completing assignment. Make friends and get involved! You will need a support system, especially if your away from home and don't know anyone around campus.

Dallas Theological Seminary is the best decision that I could have made in regards to graduate school. The campus is beautiful and the staff and professors are the best hands down. Everyone takes our motto to heart which is Teach truth, love well, and I appreciate being on a campus where everyone is genuinely concerned about your well being.
