    Make sure you have all of your financial aid info, and that everything has processed correctly. Try to join a club, or at least hang out in the student center, it is easier to make friends that way.

    Dalton State is pretty challenging academically, as it should be. Keep focused on the books, and don't get distracted by sitting around the Student Center doing nothing all day. Dalton State is definitely worth looking into, you can have a lot of fun and learn a lot at the same time.
