    Campus Safety

Campus safety does an excellent job of making sure everybody is safe and following school policies. They are also really nice and always welcome students to visit their office and chat.

    Clubs and Activities

There are a surprising amount of clubs on campus for such a small school. There is anything from culinary club to paitball club and the gaming guild. You also have the major specific clubs that pretty much open to everybody even if its not your major.

Great for these types of students

It's great for pretty much anybody that just wants to have a fun college experience. It is especially great for people who want to make some great friends in an environment that is incredibly accepting of anybody as long as you're not mean to people.

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

Its a pretty normal place, not many weird things going on unless you count the engineers walking back from working at the labs at odd hours in the middle of the night.

    Bang for the buck

Compared to other schools, the $25,000 per year is not too bad. Especially for a private college that offers things like game design and engineering. The best part is that everything you learn is very hands-on and you gain a lot of experience actually doing the things you will probably be doing when you start your career.

    What to do for fun

There are lots of things to do around campus thanks to the res life staff and the student activities board. You can go see a comedy show on the weekend or have dodge ball tournaments against the RAs. And If you feel like getting off campus, there are a ton of restaurants, theaters, and stores to go to just a short drive from the school.

    Food and Dining

The food is decent, and there is always a wide variety of options. However, the plates and silverware have been known to not be thoroughly cleaned. It is buffet style dining however and that is always good in my books.

    Dorm Life

The dorms aren't the most beautiful rooms. However, the res life staff are excellent and are always coming up with awesome things for residents to do to have fun and take a break from all the homework.

    Academic Rigor

As an aeronautical engineering student, my classes are especially tough. However, every program has its own challenges that that force students to fully invest themselves in their studies in order to succeed.

    Tips for prospective students

Don't be afraid to get involved in as many things as you can even if those activities have nothing to do with your major. Make sure you get to know your professors because you will be working very closely with them for the duration of your studies.

    In three sentences

It is an excellent small school where you quickly make a lot of friends. The classes are really interesting and small. All of the professors truly care about making you successful.

    Bang for the buck

Extremely cost effective for an engineering school.

    What to do for fun

It's in the middle of Nashua, and the public bus has a stop on our campus. So you can go out into Nashua, we're also only fifteen minutes from Manchester.

    Food and Dining

The food it actually pretty good, but the school is small so your options are limited.

    Dorm Life

The school is putting an effort into emphasizing dorm community.

    Academic Rigor

I'm an engineering major, and it is not easy.

    Tips for prospective students

Do your homework and go to class. This seems to be difficult for many people, but it's the whole point you're going to school.

    In three sentences

It is a very specialized school, and you need to know what you want to do before you go here. The student/teacher ratio is great, and the professors are always willing to help outside of class. The community development is growing.

    Campus Safety

I have not experienced anything life-threatening so far, so that's good.

    Clubs and Activities

I haven't participated in any clubs yet, but I am looking to join a couple. There are about 10 clubs you can join if you want.

    What to do for fun

There are some clubs, a gym, and I see some students playing outside some days when it is warm.

    Food and Dining

Cafeteria food is not too bad and they have a little convenience store on campus. It does get a little expensive if you are a commuter and get lunch at the cafeteria.

    Dorm Life

    I'm a commuting student so i really wouldn't know

    Academic Rigor

The classes are generally small, so you can get a lot of one-on-one time with professors.

    Tips for prospective students

Get used to small campus, and not very many people.

    In three sentences

If I could describe Daniel Webster College in three sentences, the first thing I would say is that it is small! The student population is very small and if you are a sociable person you will get to know everyone pretty quickly. However, if you are a male looking to go to colleges that have many females, then this isn't your school. But if you want an affordable education then this is the place.

    Campus Safety

Being one of the few girls on campus I feel surprisingly safe. The campus is very well lit and campus safety is conveniently located from all places on campus.

    Clubs and Activities

The best part of the clubs and activities is the fact that the students decide what, where and when they will be. The faculty is very rarely involved.

    What to do for fun

There is always something going on around campus and since everyone is allowed a car on campus there are always plenty of options to go shopping or hang out off campus as well.

    Food and Dining

The on campus food is always available but there are plenty of options close by for food as well. There are tiny local diners but there are also plenty of chain restaurants and fast food places.

    Dorm Life

The upperclassmen definitely have nicer dorms but overall they really aren't that bad. They all have a great sense of community.

    Academic Rigor

Academic rigor is based on the major. The engineering students definitely have a more rigorous workload.

    Tips for prospective students

Be yourself and do not be afraid to ask questions. Daniel Webster is what you want to make of it. If you want something on campus, get it started.

    In three sentences

The class sizes are small and the faculty is wonderful. Everyone is willing to help and there is always some new class being offered. There are quite a few clubs and activities on campus and anything that you may want can be created.
