It is a great and affordable price, well worth what you pay. Wilmington isn't the most interesting city, but it IS located in the middle of a lot of the United States greatest cities as far as art goes, making it very easy to visit museums and see the masters in person. The small size makes for very personal relationships with the administration, teachers, and students.

The Delaware College of Art and Design is a fantastic mid-level art school that nurtures and challenges it's students. Students of every level of artistic skill can grow not just technically, but intillectually as well. The school itself is growing with a campus that sees charming renovations and expansions almost yearly.

A small and closely knit community of students. Teachers are dedicated and passionate and have a close relationship with students. Unfortunately, not many opportunities are present as it is a small and rather unknown school, but it's a good school to enter if you want to get into PRATT.

The teachers are exceptional and want you to learn. I feel you get your moneys worth when it comes to learning. They aren't organized in the office area and I feel like they have hidden fees.

DCAD has an environment different from other schools. The teachers are enthusiastic about what they teach and the student that they are mentoring. The course load is heavy, but it is worth it.
