» Read MoreDel Val is not a party school. Fun activities only happen if you get involved with clubs. Sitting around and waiting for someone to tell you about a party or a social event does not happen at Del Val. Plus, Doylestown, the town the college is located, is a very wealthy area so to go into Doylestown and find something reasonably cheap to enjoy is nearly impossible. Del Val is about academics, not parties.

» Read MoreDelVal is tailored to fit the interests of agriculturally based people. There are not a lot of night clubs in the area, or bars; there are open fields and the quaint town of Doylestown. There are movie theaters, public parks, bowling alleys, and destinations such as New Hope and Lambertville within a 30 minute drive.
» Read MoreThere are numerous clubs and activities hosted by the school. There is a sports event to attend every weekend, dances once a month, as well as performers such as comedians, musical groups, and guest speakers.
» Read MoreDowntown Doylestown is a very nice, artsy town with lots of cute shops to wander around. There are shopping centers all around the county so you will find what you want no problem. We are a short train ride away from Philadelphia so grab some friends and hit the city for the day. On campus, we always have student activities, whether it is movie nights in our own theater, comedians, magicians, exercise classes, or just walking down to the barns to see the animals. Our biggest even is A-Day, which is an agricultural fair held on campus. Lots of good food, games, prizes, shows, and vendors to enjoy with friends and family alike.

I do observe a very active student life, there is always something going on every day and weekend, there are a wide variety of diverse and multi-cultural art events,clubs and committees, and yes, there is football. They even have their own country market.
» Read MoreWe are close enough to Doylestown for shopping and day/night events. There are concerts, performers, comedians, etc. on campus year-round too. But the day we work towards is our giant county fair type event called A-Day in the spring: a day you cannot forget.
