Delta is inexpensive when compared to a four year college and a good place to take start out at because of the affordability. A student might take explore different classes and find out which degree suits them the best without fear of killing the pocket book or graduation with a huge amount of debt. Many students start out here to get a feel of college and their degrees before heading out to a four year university.

Many high school students receive almost all of their tuition waived at Delta College, because of the abundance of scholarships Delta offers. Most in-district students pay about $2,000 per year at Delta, which is a bargain for students looking to transfer, or for students interested in immediately entering the workforce. If finances are an issue, Delta also has financial advisers on-site to help make ends meet.
