Each class I have taken has taught me a little bit about myself. College is so much about self discovery and that is one of the great qualities of DMACC. Not only am I learning about myself, my likes and dislikes, and who I am as a person, I am learning so much about each of the subjects I am taking. Even if a class does not directly relate to my area of study I can always take some part of it to apply to my major. This school does a great job of crossover education.

Good for anyone who hasn't decided a major! If you have decided a major, it is a great place to get your general education courses out of the way before transferring. The staff is friendly and easy to work with.

The rating on dmacc would be a 10. It is a good place to start. Everyone is helpful and it is not that expensive compared to other colleges. There is a tremendous amount of support. All a person must to is ask. When it comes for expenses it is always important to fill out fasfa. The biggest expense is the tuition. There are many scholarships that are out there that will help out it is just important to fill them out.

I am pleasantly surprised by the affordable education that I am receving from the diverse campus of the Des Moines Area Community College. The courses are challenging and meet my requirements for transfer to another 4 year university here is Des Moines, IA. The professors care about the students that they teach, and are willing to go the extra mile for the students.
