There are a lot of great places near DVC. Mount Diablo, Berkeley, San Francisco, and a drive-in movie theater. If you don't have a car and live near DVC, there is a mall, a Denny's, an In-N-Out, and a trail nearby.

Located near a mall and a few supermarkets, this place is pretty close to most things. Movie theaters are down the way as well as clubs just in the next city over (Walnut Creek).

The plays and productions that are put on are really well done. There are speech tournaments and debates that are interesting to watch.

There's plenty of things to do around DVC besides the academics and sports: there are numerous restaurants surrounding the campus and the mall is right across the street.

There are grassy areas around the college campus. I imagine people can sit on the lawn, though I have only seen this happen a few times while I was at school. There are plenty of benches to sit around being alone or with a group of friends to hang out. The one most that I like is near the music building, where there is a pond and in the middle of the pond is some type of sprayer thing where the water squirts up high and must not forget the ducks and geese. It's amazing to just watch the water and the animals. That's if you like nature.

You can join clubs, attend games, attend plays, or just hang out! :)
