    Dowling has a rowing team and a beautiful river that runs right past the cafeteria, allowing for an amazing view. There are also over 100 clubs and they are always looking for new ideas.

    You can go by the lake, or even watch some tv in the computer lab. You can read a book or two, or even exercise in the gym.

    There is a lot of events that goes on in the dorms and as well as school wide. You can even fly airplanes for fun since the airport is on campus.

    Join clubs! There are so many awesome clubs and organizations a student can be apart of. It is a great way to make friends and be part of the school. All the sports events are free admission if you have your id card. The College is 15 minutes away from a mall and just a few minutes from sayville town and patchogue which are both great areas to walk around.

    There are plenty of activities to participate in on order to have fun. The Student Government Organization provides activites almost daily for all families, staff and student to participate in. From Latin Night with food and music from different Latin countries to River Day where we can enjoy the barbecued food and canoe on the river on campus.

    you could join the crew team and row on the connetquot river. you could feed geese/ducks beside the river, but they are pests. you can go to the south shore to see the great bay and the atlantic ocean. you can go shopping in riverhead. you can go to new york to do many things. you can go to the arboretum to see many species of tree.
